Patch update:

• Runtime error reporting for MCode
  • Previously, errors were either silent or would completely crash the game. Now, errors are
• Temporarily removed NetRad internet radio player
  • NetRad didn’t have proper feedback for users when or why there was a problem adding or loading stations. Currently, most of the pre-defined stations are unavailable, so a better station list will need to be sourced.
• Fixed issue with MCode’s line highlighter and manual display

Up next

I’m going to try and pick up work on Mercury and the Z-apps more. I’ve been very slowly cooking on some other ideas here:

• A Synth app, which lets you use a midi controller or your computer’s keyboard to play sounds. It’ll feature an ADSR volume envelope, and I’m working on support for some of Godot’s audio filters
• What I’m currently calling MControl - a way to write Mercury script and control other apps. Maybe you want to write an algorithm to draw images in ZPainter? or program a song in the Synth app?
• 2D 🤝 3D. I’ve toyed with a 3D model viewer… maybe a very simple model creator!
• Desktop pets?
